All Warranty claims can be dealt with by us here ate Thingamejig Precision Tools or an Authorised Thingamejig Precision Tools Stockist.

A copy of your proof of purchase (Tax Invoice) will be required for all warranty claims.

If tools are to be returned to Thingamejig Precision Tools for Warranty claims all freight charges between ourselves and the end user will be at the expense of the purchaser.

The Scribing Tool comes with a 12 month warranty against defect materials. The tool is made from high quality aluminium and the blades are made from tungsten carbide steel. This is a precision tool and as such all care should be taken to prevent damage to the tool to ensure years of hassle free use and accuracy. It is highly recomended to always retain the Scribing Tool in its protective case when not in use. The warranty is void if there is signs of misuse, damage from rough treatment and handling and overtightening blades.

The Foot Pad Cover and Tungsten Carbide blades are only covered for defects occurred during manufacturing. These parts will wear with use and will need to be replaced. Damage to Tungsten Carbide blades as a result of over tightening is not covered by the warranty.

Return and Exchange Policy

The Buyer shall inspect the Goods on delivery and shall within three (3) days of delivery notify the Seller of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote.  If the Buyer shall fail to comply with these provisions, the Goods shall be conclusively presumed to be in accordance with the terms and conditions and free from any defect or damage. In the case of the incorrect goods being purchased there will be a 10% restocking fee.

Thingamejig Precision Tools warranty policy only covers products that are sold by Thingamejig Precision Tools or an Authorised Thingamejig Precision Tools Stockist.

Shipping

Thingamejig Precision Tools offers its customers shipping World Wide. Once payment has been received, we will endevour to ship your order within 24hrs. For Australian customers we offer free shipping for all orders of $90. To check the shipping costs for a particular item, go to that item on our site and the shipping cost is listed on that page for Australian and New Zealand Customers. For international customer please contact us. 

For Australian Customers, we us Australia Post Express Postage.

For New Zealand Customers, we us Australia Postage International Shipping Service.

For other international customer, we use a number of services dependant on the country being shipped to.

Thingamejig Precision Tools will under no circumstances, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damages or loss whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, punitive, special, or consequential. Nor will Thingamejig Precision Tools be liable for any loss of profits that are directly or indirectly related to the use of or, the inability to use, the Thingamejig Precision Tools network of Web Sites, even if advised of the possibility of such damages or that such damages were foreseeable.
