Scribing Tool Foot Pad Cover

The foot pad cover is made of a highly durable plastic and it is used to assist with preventing the scribing tool from damaging prefinished surface like painted walls when the tools is being slid across it.

Depending on the amount of use the foot pad cover gets, you may find the need to replace it. To increase the life span of the foot pad cover and to prevent damage to it, the foot pad cover should be removed when not required.
